10 Year Heat Alarm
The Ei630i Alarm is activated by heat from a fire, not smoke, which makes it ideal for kitchen installations and other areas where there is normally some level of smoke or fumes and where smoke Alarms may be subjected to false alarms.
The Ei630i has a sealed built in 10 Year Lithium battery giving you peace of mind as no battery replacement is required.
The Ei630i Alarm must be interconnected wirelessly using the Ei600MRF RadioLINK+ module (sold separately) to smoke Alarms located along the escape routes to ensure sufficient warning is given to all the occupants. Up to 12 devices can be interconnected. Alarms
interconnected wirelessly must be house coded as a system to prevent
communication with other nearby RF systems.
The AudioLINK feature facilitates acoustic download of the Alarm parameters and status using the Ei Electronics AudioLINK app. For better hearing comfort, the sound level of the alarm increases progressively in Test mode. The Test button can also be used to silence
nuisance alarms for a 10-minute period and fault beeps for 12 hours (low battery and sensor fault).
The Ei630i self-checks its sensor, battery voltage and internal circuitry every 40 seconds. Any fault condition found will be indicated by a combination of Yellow LED flashes and sound beeps.
The Alarm has a twist on mounting base which has multiple fixing points so it can be easily installed. The Alarm is not powered until it is twisted onto the mounting base, thus avoiding battery power consumption during storage and prior to installation.
