- Although 'Purple Haze' looks like a real novelty it is in fact the orange carrots that are the new-comers! The original wild carrots were purple, red, white or yellow and it was 17th century Dutch breeders who first produced the colour we know today.
- Intensely sweet flavour
- For early forcing, sow under frames or cloches in February as soil starts to warm. Make outdoor sowings March to April onwards.
